Son of Jasper Lee Yarborough 1855-1944 and wife Catherine Lucy Packwood; Brother to Joseph Edgar [1883-1946], Thad Simmons [1886-1948], Susie [1902-1914], Celia Lee [1904-1986], J. Rupert [1906-1962] and Jasper Lee Jr. [1911-1978]. He served as a cook for the U.S. Army in Brest, France during WWII with the BREST CASUAL COMPANY NO. 5213. A farmer, Clive married Lexi Mae Stewart on 14 Nov. 1931 but was a widower without children at the time of the 1940 census (which erroneously reports his age as 35 years).
