Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Chapel at Morrison Funeral Directors with Mr. John Green, family friend, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Mr. Potter was born in Milam County and had lived in Dumas since 1944. A retired contractor, he had worked at Ly'n Bragg Truck Stop and was a member of Fourteenth Street Church of Christ.
He married Faye Boatwright in 1937 at East View.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Donna Laster of Baird and Patsy Blue and Terri Brice, both of Dumas; two brothers, Coy Potter of Yukon, Okla., and Mack Potter of Fort Worth; three sisters, Edith Adams of Mangum, Okla., Florence Arman of Grants Pass, Ore., and Johnnie Mae Skaliscky of Granite, Okla.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 507 E. Third in Dumas.
