OSBORNE — Bessie Snyder, 91, died Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Osborne County Memorial Hospital, Osborne. Mrs. Snyder was born May 13, 1894, in Effingham. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both of Osborne. Her husband, Carl, died in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Milton of Dodge City; a daughter, Betty Howe of Osborne; two brothers, Charley Hargrove and Brown Hargrove, both of Effingham; a sister, Geneva Snyder of Effingham; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Osborne, Father John Lahey officiating. Burial will be in the Osborne Cemetery.
A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the Clark-Gashaw Mortuary, Osborne. Memorials may be made to the Parkview Manor, Osborne.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
