Bibb Hunter Ballard, D.D.S., went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2007 from Dallas, Texas where he currently resided. Born October 16, 1906 on the family farm in Rutledge, Alabama, he was one of eleven* children. Bibb was baptized into Christ at the age of 18 and was a faithful Christian all his life. He graduated from Emory and Columbia Universities with degrees in Dentistry and Orthodontics.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Margaret (who passed away just February 28, 2007), Bibb was survived by his three children: Zack Ballard (and wife, Leta), Ed Ballard (and wife Beth), daughter Genie (and husband Lynn); and five grandchildren: Sara, Margaret, Bibb, Reid, and Royal.

Nothing greater can be said about a man but that he served his God and family faithfully and enjoyed life to the end.

Funeral Services were held Friday, October 12, 2007, at Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas. The family respectfully requests donations be made to Childrens Oral Health Foundation, 5216 Monarch Street, Dallas, TX 75206.
