Eula Doris Graves Smith (Forrest) born June 25, 1924 passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022 at 98 years of age surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, JB Smith, Jr, her second husband, BW Forrest, and her son, Larry and his wife, Sharon.
She is survived by her children, JR Smith, Lynda Thurman (Richard), Rita Norred, Jane Murff (Charles), nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. A short graveside ceremony will be held June 30 at 10:00 am at Rosemound Cemetery with The Reverend Mickey Fugitt officiating.
