Robert Keenan was born August 16, 1898 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of John Keenan and Margaret Jane Garvey. He was united in marriage to Rose Zan Thompson on Jauary 1, 1934, in Hicksville, Ohio. His son John James, was born October 10, 1934, this also being the day, October 10, that John Keenan, Robert's father died. He was an employee of Mayflower Moving Company, Akron, Ohio and retired from there. He died May 19, 1975 in Ohio Valley Hospital, Wheeling, West Virgina after suffering serious injury from a fatal fall.
