WHITMORE OBSEQUIES TO BE HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services for Samuel M. Whitmore, who was killed in Midvale Wednesday afternoon when he leaped from a street car and was struck by a San Pedro passenger train, will be held in the Midvale assembly hall Sunday at 11:30 o'clock. Bishop Joseph Wright will conduct. Interment will be in the Midvale cemetery.
After the examination of four witnesses, the inquest into the circumstances of the death of Mr. Whitmore was yesterday postponed by Justice J. J. Williams for one week on account of the fact that witnessses wanted at the inquest cannot be present before that time.
