Thomas Roger Funk, 71 died July 7th 2014 of natural causes. Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, he lived in Utah most of his life. Tom lived with his late mother, Frances Mary, and most recently with his sister Mary Lynne, and was friend and protector of both.
Tom retired from the Veteran's Administration this spring after many years of faithful service. Tom also proudly served eight years in the United States Army.
Tom's love of animals and especially dogs was well known. All of his life Tom loved dog's, Gypsy, Shadow, Shadow II, Herky, Ginger, Dusty, Silky, Madge, Shep, Billie, Beth, Rover, Blanche, Cindy, Cody and Sadie, were his best friends and companions whom he spoiled every way each and every day. They are certainly together again.
A fine competitor, Tom loved sports, was an accomplished bowler and played co-ed softball for over two decades and was a true lifetime fan of The Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta (Milwaukee) Braves.
Thomas is survived by his Sister Mary Lynne, brothers Tim, Joe and Jim. By nephews Andrew and Jason and Nieces Jennifer, Jessica and Grand Niece Jillian. We will miss Tom dearly.
