Eva May Hartzell was the daughter of Henry Hartzell and Victoria Ann (Davis) Hartzell. She married 1st, James Clinton Baldwin, 30 Apr 1905 and had one daughter, June. She married 2nd, Albert Rector, 8 Oct 1921 without issue.

"Mrs. Eva M. Rector, 74, wife of Albert Rector, Rt.1, former county councilman and former superintendent of the Madison County Home, died Saturday morning after and illness of 3 1/2 years. The body was taken to the Waltz and Hiday Funeral Home where friends will be received after 1p.m. today.
Funeral services will be conducted at the mortuary at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Henry Patterson in charge and burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Rector was a lifelong resident of the Anderson area.
Surviving besides her husband is one daughter, Mrs. June Keesling, Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla., two step-daughters. Mrs. Ray Russey, Munsie, and Mrs. William Manners, Miami, Fla.; a step-son, Marshall Rector, Anderson, and two brothers, Howard Hartzell, Ohio and Albert Hartzell, Montana."
