Clara A. Svatek, age 99, of St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2006.
She was born June 29, 1906, in the Township of Franklin, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Oswald) Cisler. She married Joseph Svatek on June 29, 1927, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion.
Clara is survived by her children: Mary Newton of Oshkosh, Clara Svatek of Manitowoc, Frank Svatek of Brillion and John (Ardyce) Svatek of Brillion; her
daughter-in-law: Jean Svatek of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 15 grandchildren: Anne (Herbert) Dunlap, Kenneth (Lynn) Newton, David (Kelly) Newton, Mary (Mark) Zuge, Julie (Jim) Ward, John (Esther) Svatek, Michael (Caroline) Svatek, Dianna (Jeff) Trang, Kim (Randy) Rahn, Gary (Janice) Svatek, Jeanne (Jeff) Fredrick, Joseph

Clara was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1984; a son: Joseph Svatek; three infant children; a son-in-law: Robert Newton; four sisters; and three brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at Holy Family Parish in Brillion, with Father Mathew Simonar officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary
Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion assisted the family with
arrangements.
