Alvin F. Cisler, 75, of 1413 22nd Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon, November 22, 1986 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Tuesday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Stamborski with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded by VFW Otto-Oas Post 659 of Manitowoc.
Mr. Cisler was born October 25, 1911 in theTown of Franklin, Manitowoc County, son of the late Joseph and Mary Oswald Cisler. He attended Highland Joint School No. 6, Town of Franklin. He served with the United States Army from November of 1943 to July of 1945 as a Private First Class. Mr. Cisler was overseas during World War II, being stationed in France, Germany and Normandy during that time. He was employed with Manitowoc Engineering for 33 years, retiring in 1973. He married the former Ann Meyer on November 6, 1934 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Cisler was a 40 year member of VFW Otto-Oas Post 659, a 40 year member of Eagles Aerie No. 706, a member of Manitowoc Senior citizens, Machinists Local Union 516 and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Naidle of Branch and Mrs. Clara Svatek of Brillion; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 pm to 9 pm this Monday. Prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm led by Rev. James Stamborski and immediately following will be a Memorial service by Eagles Aerie No. 706.
