Kathleen Elizabeth Gareis, 54, of Denver, Colo., died Thursday morning at the Davis Nursing Home in Denver.
She was born Nov. 24, 1923 and lived in Denver since July 1973, moving from Great Bend.
She was married to Ray Nagel who died June 1971. She then married Peter Gareis.
She had been a school teacher in the Albert community. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Albert.
Survivors include the husband of the home; mother, Marion Tammen of Timken; and one brother, Robert Tammen of Timken.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brantley Bryant Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday. The family suggests memorials to the Peace Lutheran Church.
