Margaret Bertha Hayes-Bowen (1922-2008) of Stanford, KY,
please add as a daughter to Emma Hayes.
My mom was born too late to be added to the 1920 (Aunt Thelma Virginia was as she was born in 1919) Census and there was no 1925 census only 1930, and when Emma passed away in 1928.
My mother and Aunt Thelma Virginia both were sent KY to live. My mother never returned to live in TN. I can't find a birth certificate, but my mother's name is listed as Mrs. Robert Bowen of Stanford KY in my grandfather Y J Hayes' obituary, and he is listed as Emma's husband in 1928 in her obituary, but mom doesn't show up in any records to prove a relationship to Emma.
But I do have DNA Matches to prove my relationship to Emma.
