ALBANY Edna Saddlemire passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Knox, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Myrtle (Tousan) Saddle-mire. She was a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School. Edna had lived in Albany for most of her life. She was a lab technician for Albany Medical Center, Shands Hospital-University of Fla. and more recently, for Bender Hygienic Laboratory from where she retired. Edna thoroughly enjoyed traveling and sitting down with a good book. Another favorite pastime was attending all the family get-togethers and, as Edna would say, "All Those Good Groceries!"
