Captain James John Patterson, great-great-great grandson of John says that his grandmother, Nancy, told him that James McKeehan, son of John, once took her driving and pointed out as the grave of his grandfather, that old grave in Meeting House Springs Graveyard, Upper Pennsboro Presbyterian Church, in No. Middletown Twp., two and a half miles from Carlisle, which was marked by a stone with the inscription, "Here lys the body of John and Alexander McKeehan."
