Edward Imel Huffman, 91, of Petersburg,IN passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 1983 in Petersburg. He was born to Joseph Winfield Huffman and Ella (Brenton) Huffman on Apr. 6, 1892. Edd was a World War I Veteran, U.S. Army. He was a house painter and farmer. He enjoyed fishing and country music and liked to dance, play the harmonica and yodel.
Edd is survived by his sons Lowell Huffman of Petersburg,IN and Robert Huffman of Washington,IN. Daughters; Thelma Lee (Huffman) Melvin, Judy (Huffman) Leighty both of Petersburg and Sharon Huffman of Washington. Grandchildren; Jerry Huffman and Nancy (Huffman) Miley both of Petersburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents. His sons Roscoe Huffman and Arthur Huffman. Brothers; Clarence Huffman, Claude Huffman, Everett Huffman and Luke Huffman. Sisters; Cora (Huffman) Lewark and Emma (Huffman) Kline. Granddaughter Patty Jean Huffman.
Burial will take place in Walnut Hills cemetery in Petersburg,IN.
