She was born 19 March 1916, in Bloomdale, a daughter of Archie Otho Greer and Clara Thompson Greer. She was a retired secretary with Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green. She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was also a member of Waverly Grace United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death Dec. 6, 1986, by her husband, Norman William James, whom she married on Dec. 24, 1936; and a sister, Mirabelle Austin.
She is survived by a son, Stephen James of Grove City; a grandson and a step-grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Union Cemetery in Waverly, with Greg Carter, Pastor, officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly.
