HITCHCOCK- Charles Nesfield, 88, died Wednesday at Redfield Community Memorial Hospital. A retired barber, he had been a resident of Hitchcock and Beadle County 49 years.
The funeral service will be held saturday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church with Dr. E. O Hessel officiating. Burial will be in Altoona Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday evening through Friday evening at the Bryson Funeral Home, Redfield. The casket will not be open followind the service.
Nesfield was born Feb. 4, 1878, in Yorkshire, England, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Nesfield. He Married Genevieve Chaplin, June 6, 1900, in Iowa. She died Dec. 25, 1919. Later he married Minnie Mead, may 17, 1950, at Mankato Minn. he was a member of the Methodist Church, Hitchcock.
Survivors include his widow, Minnie; two daughters; four step daughters; two stepsons; 28 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and one sister.
