Raymond L. Spruell, 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Monday, May 31, 2004, in a car accident in Oklahoma. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and current Eucharistic minister. He was the former parish council member and past PTA president. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, former member of the Fort Smith Little Theatre, former commissioner of the church baseball league. He was a member of the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club and a member of the Bass Masters. He was past Water and Sewer commissioner for the City of Fort Smith.

Rosary was said at 6:30 p.m. at Putman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, two brothers, and one grandchild.
