Henrietta Lisbette (nee Lieske) Ellerman was born in Prussia. She married Gottlieb (aka Gustav or George) Oellermann about 1862 in Chotinka, Russia. They had 8 children, all born in Chotinka. They immigrated to Canada in 1892 and homesteaded in the Neudorf, Sask. area. Henrietta died in 1916 and was buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery southwest of Neudorf. Her tombstone is rather uniquely fashioned in the shape of a stump. She was 77 years old when she died.
