Mrs. Mae D. Ochs of Okawville Dies at Age of 72 Years
Mrs. Mae D. Ochs, 72, a lifelong resident of Okawville, widow of the late August Ochs, and an aunt of Dr. F.A. Ochs, 107 South Thirtieth street, died of a lingering illness at 4:45 yesterday afternoon in St. Elizabeth's hospital, where she had been a patient since August 21.
Her late husband, August Ochs, was a former merchant and insurance man of Okawville, who died in September last year.
She was born in Okawville May 18, 1874, a daughter of the late John F. and Charlotte Frank, and was married to August Ochs February 22, 1899.
Surviving her are one son, Robert M. Ochs, and three brothers, William G., John J., and Louis F. Frank, all residents of Okawville.
The body is at the Buchmueller funeral home and funeral services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Okawville Methodist church, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.
