"Funeral services for Sanival Rand Neal, 81, of Texarkana, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shady Grove Church Of Christ, in Jefferson, under the direction of Atlanta Funeral Home. Burial will be in Douglas Chapel Cemetery in Jefferson. The former Jefferson resident died Saturday, February 13, 1982, in a Texarkana hospital. She was born October 25, 1901, the daughter of Lonnie and Della Rand. She was a member of Shady Grove Church Of Christ, and she was a housewife. Survivors include her husband, Sam Neal, of Texarkana; her stepmother, Mrs. Johnnie L. Rand, of Jefferson; seven brothers, Lemon Rand, Levanual Rand, Clifford Rand, Bufford Rand, Lonnie Rand, Marzell Rand and Oscar Rand; eight sisters, Mrs. Clyde M. Johnson, Bessie Jones, Annie Campbell, Mrs. Claude Smith, Mrs. M.A. Andrews, Mrs. Larnell Johnson and Mrs. Odell Smith; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren."
