SERVICES HELD FOR HAROLD A. DEISCHER OF WYOMING AREA
WYOMING - Harold A. Deischer, 78, died May 22, at John McDonald hospital, Monticello.
Funeral services were conducted on May 25, at Goettsch funeral home, Monticello, by Rev. Wayne Norris of the Wyoming Presbyterian church. Burns Masonic lodge conducted memorial services the evening of May 24.
Pallbearers included, Richard Eichhorn, Howard Jamieson, Alex Ingiis, all of Wyoming; Kenneth Howie, Delmar King and Fred Kromminga, of Monticello.
Mr. Deischer, was a life long resident of Jones county. Born July 5, 1887, in Castle Grove, he attended Monticello high school and Iowa State College in Ames.
He married Olive Cramer Feb. 25, 1914; he and his wife farmed near Monticello and in Castle Grove township, retiring to Wyoming in 1958. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, which he had served as elder. He had been presented a 50 year membership certificate by the Masonic lodge in June of 1964. He was a
past president of the Jones county Farm bureau.

Survivors include one son, Allan, Onslow; one daughter, Margaret, Mrs. John Eichhorn, Wyoming; six grandchildren, Phillip, James, Lois, Patricia, Peter and
Douglas Eichhorn, of Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Jackson, Columbia, Mo.
In addition to his wife, who died in October 1964, he was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Deischer; sister, Margaret, and a brother, Forest.
