May Henderson Dies At Elwood
ELWOOD -- Mrs. May Henderson, 82, 217 N. 8th St., widow of Leslie Henderson, died at 9 p.m. Thursday at Mercy Hospital following an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Henderson was born Sept. 18, 1876 in Clinton County and was the daughter of Elijah and Alwida Thomas. Her husband died in 1918. She was a member of the Gospel Mission.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Irene Taylor, Anderson; two sons, Leslie E. Henderson, Elwood, and Vasil Henderson, Tipton; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
