Ladd - Minnie Morgan, 98, formerly of Ladd died at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Spring Valley Nursing Center where she resided for the past three years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hurst Funeral Home, Ladd. The Rev. Aelwyn Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday and after 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home in Ladd.
Mrs. Morgan was born Sept. 14, 1896 in Bureau County, to Henry and Julianna (Wunder) Pinter. She married Manford Morgan.
She farmed with her husband in the Ladd area all of their working life.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Pierson of Ladd; a son, Perry Morgan of Oglesby; three grandchildren; and a great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 28, 1971; a daughter, Jean Thompson; and seven brothers and sisters.
