Lillie R. Richter, 91, of Cameron, Texas, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006, in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Monica's Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica's Mausoleum. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Lillie was born in Buckholts, Texas, to the late Julius and Frances (Zajicek) Ruzicka. She married Johnnie A. Richter and was a homemaker and an active member of St. Monica's Catholic Church where she was involved with homebound ministries.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; and several siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie A. Richter, of Cameron; son, Dr. Johnnie Richter and his wife, Sandra, of Rogers; daughter, Dr. Jeannette Cunningham, of Waco; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack D. Ruzicka, of Buckholts.
