Winfield Scott McCall died at his home in the White Oak Pond neighborhood last Friday, aged 68 years.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the White Oak Pond church, conducted by Rev. D. E. Fields, pastor of the Madison Avenue M.E. Church, of this city.
Burial was in the cemetery there.
Winfield Scott McCall was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, April 27, 1856. He came to Laclede County in 1868 and had since resided here.
On October 13, 1912, he was united in marriage to Miss Ella
Agnes Coffman, who, and a daughter, survive, him.
He was a good citizen and many friends in the community of which he had been a part deeply mourn his passing out from among them.
