ROUSSE FUNERAL
Funeral services for Merlin Rousse, 49, 1410 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan, who died unexpectedly Sunday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, Sheboygan, the Rev. Stanly Matz officiating. Burial was in WIldwood Cemetery, Sheboygan.
Mr. Rousse was born Jan. 7, 1921 at Niagara, Wis., a son of Isadore and the late Ethel Rousse. The family moved to Two Rivers when he was a child.
During WWII Mr. Rousse served in the U.S. Army in the European theater.
He married the former Grace Lapean at Two Rivers Feb. 24, 1948. The couple lived at Two Rivers until 1958, moving to Elkins, W. Va. In 1962 the family moved to Sheboygan where Mr. Rousse was employed as a draftsman at Ebenreiter Woodworking Co. He was a member of St. Luke Church and the Ebenreiter Good Fellowship Club.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Cheryl) Braeger of Sheboygan; two sons, Michael, a student at the Universtiy of Wisconsin, Madison, and Steven, a senior at SheboyganSouth High School; his father and stepmother , Isadore and Beatrice ROusse of Reedsville; a brother Arnold of Two Rivers; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Riha and Mrs. Arthur Ott of Two Rivers, Mrs. Kenneth Kososki of Niagara, and Mrs. Paul Frederic of Leesville, La.
