Mary Jane was born circa 1816, the daughter of Simon McCarroll and Ann Coskey Glenn. She married Samuel Glenn in Ireland 9 Aug 1854 and immigrated to Connecticut in the late 1850s after the birth of their daughter Ellen. Sisters Ellen McCarroll Reid and Ann McCarroll Tate also immigrated to CT and are buried in this cemetery. Five children of her brother James McCarroll (Simeon, Hugh, James, Sarah, Margaret) and three children of her possible brother John McCarroll (Joseph, Annie, Rachel) also immigrated to CT.
