MRS. MINNIE SPEED BURIED FREESTONE COUNTY MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie A. Speed, aged 64 years, who died at the home of her son, Jess Speed, Exall Heights addition, Monday morning at 3 o'clock, were held at the Steward's Mill church in Freestone county Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with interment in the Steward's Mill cemetery.

The rites were conducted by Rev. Joe E. Glenn, pastor of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist church. Mrs. Speed had resided in Navarro county for the past 50 years.

Surviving are her husband, E. A. Speed, Corsicana; two sons, Jesa Speed, Corsicana, and Jim Speed, Los Angeles; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Edmondson, San Angelo; several grandchildren, a brother, Henry Await, Steward's Mill, and four sisters, Mrs. Sybil Lamb, Wortham; Mrs. Mattie Bass, Steward's Mill; Mrs. Bell McAdams, Steward's Mill and Mrs. Laura McLeod, Phoenix, Ariz. The funeral arrangements were directed by the Corley Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dave
Wiley, Tommie Blissette, Elbert Beasley, Bob Mills, porter Holloway and E. W. O'Daniel.
