Funeral services for Iris Ilene Philley, age 84, of Mer Rouge, Louisiana will be 2PM, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove with Lannie B. Philley, Rev. Vollmar and Michael Carroll officiating. Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1PM until service time at the church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward K. "Snooks" Philley Sr.; parents, Mr. Ben "B. H." Fleming and Lena Murray Fleming.
Ilene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lannie B. and Margaret Tracey Philley of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; son, Edward K. Philley Jr. of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Lu Ann and Michael Carroll of Tyler, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Sara Frances Edwards and husband John of DeBerry, Texas, Laura Lee and husband Kevin of Round Rock, Texas, Kelly Blair of Pflugerville, Texas, Victoria Philley of Ruston, Louisiana, Ben Philley of Monticello, Arkansas, Edward K.
