"WOMAN DROPS DEAD TALKING WITH DOCTOR - Mrs O O Goodwill of Sparta Township Was Conferring With Corry Physician - Apparently in Good Health - Spartansburg, Feb 16 - This neighborhood was profoundly shocked this afternoon to learn of the sudden death of Mrs Lizzie Hanks Goodwill, who dropped dead while conversing with Dr Gillette in his office in Corry. Mrs Goodwill, aged 52 years in January, was apparently in her usual health when she left home this forenoon with Mr Goodwill to go to Corry. She had visited various places in the city and was at the office of Dr Gillette to obtain medicine for another member of her family, when stricken. She died in a few minutes. Those Who Survive - Mrs Goodwill is survived by her husband, O O Goodwill, to whom she was married in 1903. She had been previously married and leaves two sons by the first marriage, Marvin and Carl Dine of Cleveland. A granddaughter, Catherine Dine, also lived with her. She was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Warren Hanks, now residing at Cooperstown, and leaves the following brothers and sisters: S Hanks of Meadville; Charles Hanks of Pittsburgh, and Andrew Hanks of Cooperstown; Mrs Sherman Foster of Diamond; Mrs Archie Gibbons and Mrs Joseph Kline of Franklin and Mrs Bertha Kerns of Black Ash. She also has a sister residing in California. The body was prepared for burial at a Corry Undertaking establishment and the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at an hour to be determined later."

"Funeral services in memory of Mrs O O Goodwill will be conducted from the Spartansburg M E church on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made in Trimm's cemetery."
