Mrs. Donald (Henrietta) Killam, 79, of Route 2, Markesan died Monday evening September 28, 1987 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Killam was born August 28, 1908 in the town of Alto, the daughter of Art and Gertrude Kwakkel Vande Streek. On June 20, 1930 she married Donald Killam in Waupun.

Following their marriage the couple farmed in the Alto area all their married life.

Mrs. Killam was a member of the Alto Reformed Church in Alto where she was a past member of the Women's Mission Circle.

Survivors include: her husband; three sons, Glenn Killam of Route 2, Markesan; Kimble "Kay" Killam of Route 1, Brandon; David Killam of Route 2, Markesan; one daughter, Mrs. Wallace (Arlene) Vande Berg of Route 1, Markesan; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Hattie) Schouten of Waupun; Mrs. John (Gertrude) Hull of Waupun.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Killam were held Thursday, Oct. 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Alto Reformed Church in Alto. The Rev. Robert Otto officiated. Burial is at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.

Visitation was Wednesday, Sept 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home and Thursday at the church from noon until the hour of service.
