Midvale - Christ P. Loulias, 85, of 66 First Avenue, Midvale, died of natural causes Feb. 27 at a Murray hospital.
Born March 25, 1886, New Ephesus, Asia Minor, Turkey, to Petro and Maria Gust Johanadies Loulias. He married Angeliko Rigakis, June 14, 1914, in Crete, Greece. She died just a few months ago on Oct. 5, 1971. He was retired, and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. He came to Utah in 1916, and was a member of Pan-Cretan Association of America.
Survivors: sons and daughters, Peter and Mrs. Bill (Irene) Richards, both of Midvale; Michael, Nick, Mrs. Ted (Katherine) Passalis, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mont (Mary) Deming, Sandy; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother James P., San Francisco.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 5335 Highland Drive. Prayer service Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State where friends call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday until 1:30 p.m. Burial in Midvale City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund.
