Louisa Dyer1929-2007 Louisa Jane Doll Leigh Dyer, age 78, of Ridgeway Drive, Wellington, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007, at St. Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born August 13, 1929, at Liberty, in Casey County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late John and Betty Jane Pettyjohn Leigh. Her husband, Elwood Denton Dyer, preceded her in death on January 20, 1980. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Denton William and Michelle Ann Dyer of Wellington, Kentucky; one stepdaughter, Sharon Dyer of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; one sister, Effie Murphy of Liberty, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Matthew Denton Dyer, Abigail Renee Dyer, and Justin Cole Dyer. Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker and enjoyed making quilts. She is a member of LaPorte Church of Christ, LaPorte, Colorado. Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Denton William Dyer officiating. Burial was in Clearfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Dyer, Mark Hounshell, Andrew Burton, David Burton, Kendell Barnes, and Les Vairs.
