Early Life: George was born May 15, 1950, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to James Madison Moe and Betty Jane Shepherd Moe. He spent most of his growing up years in Louisville, Kentucky, before moving with his family to southern California.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: George served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam era and later joined the Utah Air National Guard. Upon returning from the Marines and living in California, George met Pamela Kay Evensen. They were married in September 1979 in the Salt Lake Temple. George was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. He loved his family and they were number one in his life. He enjoyed giving service to those in need, riding his motorcycle and building his model ships. George Shepherd Moe passed away June 22, 2014. He was 64.
Survived By: His wife, Pam; son, Larry, of Craig, CO; brother, James M. Moe, Jr. (Cherie), of Tucson, AZ; sister, Louisa (Cary) Otis, of Petaluma, CA; grandchildren, Drake and Izzylee, both of Cedar City, UT.
