A horse shied at coal oil barrels at the pike just north of town [Mifflintown] on Monday afternoon. The animal backed over a steep embankment. The carriage was upset and Mr. Abram Book and his wife were thrown out. Mrs. Book's right shoulder bone was broken and Mr. Book was hurt in the back. Mr. Abram Book was in town on Saturday, having to a great extent recovered from the effects of the buggy accident of two weeks ago. Mr. Book, however, is not yet able to be about. She, it will be remembered by the reader, had a shoulder bone broken."
