From her home, surrounded by her family, on June 21, 2014, Helen began her grandest journey when she arrived in Heaven. Helen (Anderson) Peters, 91, of Albin, Wyoming, was born February 24, 1923, at the farm of Gust and Anna (Faust) Anderson. She attended school at Golden Prairie Community School through tenth grade and graduated for Albin High School in 1941. Helen attended the University of Wyoming, graduating with a two year degree in 1943.

In 1943, she began her elementary teaching career in Powell, WY for two years, continuing in Albin in three intervals for 19 years and in Pine Bluffs for 10 years until her retirement in 1983. She was fondly known as "Mrs. Peters" by her many students.

Helen married Marion Peters at the Albin Baptist Church, on April 19, 1944. To this union was born LaRae (Delbert) Blocker of Newcastle, WY; Marvin (Donna) Peters of Albin, WY: and Howard (Ceil) Peters of Prescott, AZ.

She is survived by her three children and spouses; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Alan (Jane) Blocker, and Corbin and Conrad of Gillette, WY, Daniel (Jennifer) Blocker, and Kyli of Hillsboro, OR, Anna Peters of NYC, Amanda (Jeremy) Busch of New York City, and Amy (Mike) Haynes of Fort Collins, CO; sister, Elaine Kopecky of Rochester, MN; twin brothers, Lawrence Anderson of Burns and Leonard (Norma) Anderson of Pine Bluffs; brothers-in-law, Paul Peters of Pampa, TX, and Jack Peters of Girard, IL; sister-in-law, Peggy (Bill) Jones of Miami, OK; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gust and Anna Anderson; her husband, Marion; brother, Warren Anderson; brothers-in-law, Max Peters, Myron Peters, and Don Kopecky; and sisters-in-law, Artice Anderson, Joanne Anderson, Alice Peters, Hulen Peters, Louise Peters, Ellen Peters and Edna Peters.
