Final rites were held for Jacob Duncan, 62-year-old resident of Fort Necessity, who died Wednesday night at his residence after a short illness. The religious services were held in the Liddieville Baptist church with the Rev. Dana Terry of Winnsboro officiating. Interment followed in the Ogden cemetery.

Mr. Duncan, who was a Mason and a member of the New Hope Lodge of Liddieville, is survived by his wife; a son, Robert Duncan, Lake Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Inez Crow [sic Croke], Mrs. Addie Jones and Mrs. Florence Crow [sic Croke], all of Winnsboro; three brothers, T. A. Duncan, Bastrop, James Duncan, Franklinton, and Newt Duncan, Franklinton; and a sister, Mrs. Fannie Johnson, Bogalusa.

Arrangements were made by First National Funeral home.
