Warthan died on the 12th day of July AD
1872 in the Township of Washington in the
County of Chickasaw, State of Iowa and
was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in
the township of Utica in said County by
the side of his said son Emanuel Warthan, on
the 13" of July A.D. 1872, he, the said Mitchell
being personally present at the funeral
and burial - . . ."
