ARTHUR FANSLAU

Arthur C. Fanslau, 66,
of 1455 Hawthorne Ave., Two Rivers, died Thursday at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, where he had been a patient a month. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Monday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and at 2 pm at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. T.F. Stern will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers' Rest
Cemetery.
Mr. Fanslau was born Jan. 8, 1900 at Two Rivers, son of the late August and Marie Sonnenboldt Fanslau. He attended St. John Parochial School. He was a supervisor of Plant 1 of Mirro Aluminum Co. for 47 years retiring in April, 1965. He was a former long time member of St. John Lutheran Men's Club, Hamilton Band and was an original member of the Southside Brass Band. He married the former Beatrice Bartz Jan. 24, 1925 at Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Bernice) Swoboda and Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Nate of Two Rivers, Mrs. Kay (Aileen) Christensen of Rochester, Minnesota, and Mrs. Homer (Kathleen) Guthrie of Carlyle, Ill.; two brothers, Reinhard of Manitowoc and August of Two Rivers and eight grandchildren. Four sisters and five brothers preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 2 pm Sunday until the time of services.
