He was born March 28,1904 at Pine Knob,WV,a son of the late Duffie and Laura Canterbury Miller.He was a former coal miner.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Pettry Miller; six sons,two sisters,Daphine Cole of Sophia WV,and Nannie Deck of Beckley; two brothers, Roscoe Miller of Dry Creek and Alfred of Cleveland,OH; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
