He then married Anna Katharina Graf(f) on November 12, 1899 in Elmwood, Kansas. Their marriage was blessed with 5 children; Reinhardt Jr, Rose, Freda, Herman and Elsie Maye Galyardt.
At the time of Reinhard's death he was survived by two brothers, Dave of Gorham, KS and August of Wichita, KS; a sister, Mrs. B.F. Brock (sic) of Wichita, KS.
