KANAB CHILD DIES AT CEDAR
Ora Gean Ford, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ford of Kanab, died wednesday, June 11, at Cedar City, where she was taken for medical aid.
The little girl had been very ill since Thursday, June 5, after having eaten fresh cherries.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR ORA JEAN FORD
Ora Jean Ford, the seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ford, died at Cedar City June 11, of peritonitis following an operation for appenicitis. The remains were brought home and funeral services were held June 13, at 4 o'clock at the Kanab L.D.S. chapel.
Bishop Chamberlain presided. The exercise were as follows:
Song, Kanab choir.
Invocation, Z.K. Judd.
"Rock of Ages," choir.
Sentiments from Primary, Mrs. Fred Fowler.
Talk, Asa W. Judd.
Vocal solo, "I'm a Pilgram," Mrs. Matie Tietjen.
Talk, Heber J. Meeks.
Song, "I know That My Redeemer Lives," choir.
Benediction, Charles R. Pugh.
Interment was at the Kanab cemetery. Othello Bowman dedicated the grave.
