He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Williamsport.
Besides his mother he is survived by five sisters; Mrs. Ruth Angle, Mrs. Loretta Rhyne and Mrs. Linda Newlin, all of Hagerstown; Mrs. Susan Obbits, Williamsport and Mrs. Doris Weller, Mercersburg, PA; three brothers, John M. Nichols, State Line, Pa., Harold Nichols and Roy H. Nichols, both of Hagerstown.
Services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
