He was production manager of Use Industry at Maryland State Reformatory for Males, Breathedsville, for 20 years. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the 31st Infantry, and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by wife, Charlotte (Carr) Veatch; one son, Richard Allen Veatch, Hagerstown.
Services were held at St. John's Episcopal Church; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery; A.K. Coffman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
