Vivian L. VanEaton, 96, of Eatonville died Friday.

A native of Farmersville, Texas, she moved to Washington state in 1889. She was a descendant of the pioneer King family which built the King Restaurant and the Ohop Bob Chicken Dinner Inn near Eatonville.

Survivors include a son, King Russell VanEaton of Eatonville; a sister, Margaret Elaine Taylor of Eatonville; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
