Homestead 1889
Margaret Taylor, 96, of Eatonville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 1990. She was born and died on her father's homestead at Ohop. Margaret was the last survivor of 12 children.
She was a member of the Mountain Star OES, Ohop Grange, Chehalis Lady Elks and Charter member of the Eatonville Sportsmans Club.
During World War II she worked at Todd Shipyards and following she worked as a Nurses Aid at the McKenna Home, operated Eatonville Hotel with her son, Dick for 22 years and was honored by Governor Booth Gardner as an owner of a Centennial Farm, 100-year Continual Agricultural Heritage.
Survivors: sons, Dick Taylor and S.A. Taylor; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
