Although Ruth's maiden name was Huff, Fairfield MM records (Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 276) as Ruth Huff when she married Jonathan Sanders on 1852, 9, 22, at Fairfield MM. He was the son of John & Milly Sanders of Highland Co. She was daughter of Daniel & Mary McPherson of Highland Co. Ruth had first married Daniel Huff on 1842, 3, 3, at Fairfield MM (Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 261).
Ruth McPherson and her parents, Daniel and Mary, according to Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 262 were received on certificate at Fairfield MM on 1814, 11, 26, from Mt. Pleasant MM, VA (Mt. Pleasant records aren't in Hinshaw's Virginia volume).
Her death and burial are recorded in Fairfield MM records [Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 276].
