Samuel G. Gould, age 71 years passed away on August 30, 2013 in Lincoln, Nebr. He was born in Morrowville, KS on June 9, 1942 to Harlan D. and Nena M. (Simmons) Gould.
He served in the In the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Crete Legion and the Eagles and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crete. He retired in 2005 from the Crete Mills where he worked for 34 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Loyal Gould, Danny Gould and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Gould.
Sam is survived by his wife Patricia of Crete, Son; Robert A. and wife Cindy, daughter; Teresa Gould, grandsons, Luke Gould, BJ Gould and Brian Sehnert, step-daughter Camille Hergott, step-son, Evan Hergott and wife Ashley, step grandson, Jacob Hergott, sister, Bernadine Ginn, brothers, Walter and wife Marie Gould and Russell Gould, several nieces and nephews, step nieces and nephews.
Services were held on September 7, 2013 at 10 AM at Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete, Nebraska. Rev. Nathan Ristvedt officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were; Robert Gould, Evan Hergott, Luke Gould, Brian Sehnert, Russ Gould, Jr., Ryan Jensen and Mike Roads. Memorials to the family.
